About The Practice

Dr Waffiyah Ali Afridi is a board-certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology.
She earned her medical degree from the Aga Khan University Medical College and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. She subsequently completed her fellowship training in Rheumatology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. After completing her Rheumatology training, Dr Afridi worked at a Rheumatology practice in Hamden, Connecticut until she moved to Dallas, Texas in 2018.
She strongly believes in fostering long term, trusting relationships with her patients and taking a patient-centric approach towards their care. She values patient education regarding their condition and treatment options and is excited to serve her patients and community.
Dr Afridi and her husband share three beautiful children. She enjoys reading and traveling with her family.
